The Brookfield Rural Fire Brigade is a part of the volunteer Rural Fire Service, which in turn is a part of the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service of the Queensland Department of Community Safety.

Fire Wardens in the Brookfield valleys are also often RFS members and can be contacted through the brigade.

The volunteer RFS firestation in Boscomb Road Brookfield is not routinely staffed other than during brigade activities. Contact can be made via the Caboolture regional office for Rural Fire Operations at 25 Leda Boulevard MORAYFIELD QLD 4506  or telephone (07) 5420 1333 during office hours.

Current Fire Ban information can be obtained from the RFS web site.
Current Fire Restriction information can be obtained from the RFS web site.


Weather forecasts including Fire Weather Warnings can be obtained from the Bureau of Meterology website. During a major emergency local radio 612 ABC Brisbane will broadcast emergency information, advice and updates. The national Emergency Alert System may also be used.
